Usain Bolt amazes again with this blazing 200m final performance at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow held a mere week ago. Usain Bolt crossed the line in 19.66 seconds, not a personal best, but the time is definitely way up there in ranking. Usain also won his 100m final in a time of 9.77 seconds. (his record, which still stands, is 19.19 seconds for the 200m).

Anthonique Strachan representing the Bahamas well here winning in a time of 11.20 seconds. She clocked the fastest time in the world for 2012. I wish her the best of luck in Moscow in these upcoming days. She is due to run the 200m year and only the 200m sprint this year. She should be well rested, well prepared and ready to blaze the track this year. This should be interesting to watch.
The Bahamas hopes to give a good representation in this year’s upcoming IAAF event held from August 10th – August 18th broadcasted on ZNS Network (Channel 13).
Today was a busy day. I ended up dropping my grandparents to Princess Margaret Hospital, taking my grandmother to Wendy’s, the food store and Royal Bank of Canada, submit my redemption form to CFAL, get a haircut, pickup about 10 lbs of grits, put gas in the car, complete both a morning and evening workout and complete disc 3 in the Joseph Prince A Spirit Led -Life Series.
